2021 County eConvention

The 2021 Hawaii County Democratic Party Convention was held as a virtual eConvention, allowing delegates and party members to participate safely from their homes.

Convention Format

Due to ongoing COVID-19 safety precautions, the 2021 county convention was conducted entirely online. This format ensured that all registered delegates could participate in platform discussions, officer elections, and other convention business regardless of their location on the Big Island.

Convention Business

• Platform resolutions and amendments
• Election of county committee officers
• Selection of delegates to the State Convention
• Reports from party leadership and elected officials

Participation

The eConvention was open to all automatic delegates and elected delegates from each district. Observers were welcome to attend the virtual proceedings.
